Why is my puppy trembling when inhaling during sleep? Is it normal?

I have noticed my puppy when sleeping the past day trembles every time she inhales. What could be the cause. It’s nit a normal bad dream twitch that dogs sometimes do. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 3 days old | 39 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If Ruthie is otherwise acting fine I would just watch her. A lot of what puppies do while sleeping doesn't mean anything is wrong with their health. If she is acting sick when awake then I'd be worried she is in pain or has a fever. She should then be evaluated by your Vet. I hope this helps and I wish Ruthie the best!
