My dog is shy with family. How can I help him feel more at ease?

Shy dog or so the breeder says. He doesn't like anyone except me. Get along with the other dogs. Very sweet dog but I want him to feel at ease with the other family members. I was told he wasn't an abused dog. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 12 lbs

Blu may just be shy and this may be his personality. I would see what Blu likes most. This could be a treat, going for a walk or even throwing the ball. Then I would have the family members that Blu is shy with do these things with him. Hopefully this will help him not be so shy around them. I would make sure you are not around when they do things with Blu. If this does not work then I would talk to a trainer to work with the family member that he is shy with and him.
