Why is my dog's hearing sensitive with craniomandibular osteopathy?

my westie has craniomandibular osteopathy. Her hearing seems exceptionally sensitive. Is this a complication of cmo?

While I cannot find reference to a direct connection between craniomandibular osteopathy and sensitive hearing, the part of the bone that houses the inner ear (bullae) can be affected with this disease and I could imagine that certain sounds might be conducted differently and seem louder. It could also be that she seems painful in general since this can be a painful condition. I would recommend letting your veterinarian know about your concerns.
