Should I be concerned about adopting a dog with a cataract in one eye?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 15 lbs

in process of adopting a 3 year old poodle/Maltese mix. She has a cataract in her left eye . Should I forget about adopting her? Or is it really not a problem Thank you

Cataracts are fairly common in dogs. There are some potential complications of cataracts, but if it is only in one eye, it may just be something that needs to be monitored.
