Puppy disoriented, lethargic, peeing, swollen vulva: What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 5 days old | 20 lbs

My 4 month old puppy was fine in the morning. After a few hours she was taking a nap and woke up disoriented, was running around a little crazy like for a minute and then became very lethargic amd almost in a drunken state. Also, she started discharging liquid/pee? while she was running around and also now while she's been laying down. Her vulva also seems to be swollen and shes been licking it. Ehat should I do?

Thank you for reaching out to Pet Coach about Charlie. This sounds possibly concerning for a toxin (any marijuana exposure?) consideration within the past few hours. Give the symptoms you have described I would highly recommend to have her seen by a veterinarian today. Especially in a puppy, with these symptoms, I would not want to wait over the weekend. Best of luck to you and Charlie.
