My 4-month beagle puppy barks, scratches tail, and won't eat.

I have a 4 month old beagle and she is barking constant when she is in her lot and poor appetite when brought in the house she sleeps in her cage fine but I have noticed her scratching and biting at her tail

Poor Lacie! The chewing could be due to allergies, fleas, mange or an infection. You can try Benadryl twice a day (see link) to see if it helps. I would also make sure she is on a high quality flea preventative. If this doesn't help, I would have your vet take a look at her skin to see if she needs any antibiotics or stronger allergy meds. The barking can be secondary to her nature and the stress of being in a new place. She is still young and may need more time to get use to everything. If she is barking too much, you can try a citronella collar to see if this decreases her barking. Her appetite may be that she is just picky. You may try to feed her a little chicken and white rice to see if this entices her to eat. I hope this helps!
