My puppy keeps vomiting but is still active. Is this serious?

Hello! My puppy is vomiting. He is in high spirits still, but he has vomited three times tonight. He chewed up a table leg today and has been nosing around in the show which might have salt in it. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 25 days old | 14 lbs

If he was older I probably wouldn’t be as worried, but those little guys can get dehydrated so quickly. If he vomits again I think he should be seen at an emergency clinic. He could have just irritated his GI tract from getting into so much stuff today. However, I also worry about parasites and viral infections such as parvovirus. If he continues to vomit, starts to have any diarrhea, or if tomorrow he won’t eat then those are all signs that he should be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. He may need anti nausea medication and some fluid therapy. They will likely want to take an x-Ray and test for parvovirus. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
