I'm sorry to hear that you're seeing worms in Lucky and Kieron's poop and vomit! "Ringworm" is actually a term for a fungal skin infection, so I'm assuming you mean that you're seeing roundworms - these look like long, thin spaghetti noodles. You can get an over-the-counter broad spectrum dewormer like Strongid or Panacur from most pet stores to get rid of them, if you wish - just follow the instructions on the label for dosing, based on their weight. Or if you prefer, take a fecal sample to your vet's office to be checked. They can tell you for sure if you're seeing roundworms or some other type of parasite, and will prescribe an appropriate dewormer to treat your pups depending on what is found.

Hi there. Long, thin "spaghetti noodle" worms are typically roundworms - these are very common in puppies. If the pup is acting normal otherwise, you can get a broad-spectrum dewormer such as Strongid or Panacur at most pet stores that should be effective at getting rid of the worms.

Those are probably roundworms which are a common parasite of puppies and young dogs. You can purchase dewormer for roundworms at PetCo. Otherwise if you want to know if there are other intestinal parasites as well then bring in a fecal sample to your veterinarian and they will examine it under the microscope and prescribe an effective dewormer. Mookie will need to be dewormed again in two to three weeks. Please read the label and give any medication according to the directions. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Mookie.
