Orange juice isn't bad for cats in that it isn't toxic for them, but it's not good for them to have in their diet. It has too much sugar in it, and is not beneficial at all to their health. The only liquid cats need to be healthy is water. I hope this helps!

Gatorade and other sports drinks could lead to gastrointestinal upset. The sugar content is too high and they have no need for all the additional electrolytes, artificial colors, and artificial flavors. In addition, the low-calorie or 'light' versions of sports drinks likely have artificial sweeteners that also are not good for your cat to ingest. Clean water is the best thing for your cat to drink.

I had a glass of cranberry mango juice and i think my cat drank some can it harm him? I think he's okay cause i gave him real water when i realized it was cranberry mango juice and he seemed alright.
Citrus fruits (especially if the juice was near 100% juice) can cause some GI upset in cats. I would recommend monitoring Tigger for any vomiting and/or diarrhea or lack of appetite. If he only got a small amount, and there was mostly water and sugar in the juice, then he will likely be just fine. If you do see mild symptoms of GI upset, then a vet visit is the next best step. Hi, my cat recently had a urine Crystal problem. I took him to the vet. All is well, I am just wondering if it's save to give him cranberry juice.
Cranberry juice doesn't work very well for cats with urinary issues. Depending on the type of crystals present, it could actually make it worse. The best thing you can do for them is increase their water consumption. This can be done by adding water to their food, feeding canned cat food, and adding a pet fountain (cats usually prefer to drink from a running water source). can i feed my cat cantaloupe?
Cantaloupe is not toxic to cats, and should be safe to give in occasional, small amounts. However, I would not recommend giving large quantities of cantaloupe regularly since cats are obligate carnivores and do not require fruit as a part of a balanced diet. Too much cantaloupe could lead to vomiting and/or diarrhea.

My cats seem to like human babyfood. I bought a few of the first foods meats, but noticed the beef contains lemon juice. Should I throw it out? I've heard citrus can cause illness in cats.
In small amounts such as what would be in baby food, its not going to cause a problem. Just be sure you are giving the baby food as a supplemental treat, not as a primary diet source, and keep an eye on her weight as it is rather calorie dense. Thanks for asking Boop by Petco!

Hi, i was cutting limes and my cat licked my fingers that had lime juice on them. i was worried if she will be ok since limes are toxic to cats. How much lime juice is toxic? thank you so much im just worried if shes going to be ok.
A small amount of lime juice should not cause any problems except potentially a little drooling/ gastrointestinal upset. It is usually the skin and oils from citrus fruit that can cause toxicity. Is oatmeal ok if it is salt free and a pea size
A small amount of plain oatmeal should not be harmful for Sally, as long as there are no added flavorings. Anything with artificial sweeteners or spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg should be avoided, as they can be toxic to cats.

I discovered (purely by accident) that my cats like vanilla almond milk. I know they’re not supposed to drink regular milk, but I’m not sure about almond milk. Would it be bad for them if i gave them a little bit in a dish sometimes?
Almond milk isn’t toxic, and a small amount would be okay occasionally. Some cats have sensitive stomachs and anything outside of their normal food can cause diarrhea. I also wouldn’t recommend giving any milk with sugar or other sweeteners.

Hi. Hope you have a good day. I have a 6months cat. I usually use a water soluble tablet of vitamin C everyday. My cat always wants a portion. My question is: is it harmful for the cat or not? Thank you for your kind answer
Vitamin C itself is fine for a cat to have. The only concern is if the tablet has any artificial sugars, or odd chemicals in it. If it is just Vitamin C, then it is perfectly OK for her to have some.

I give my cats a little eggnog around this time of year maybe once or twice every 2 or 3 weeks.not much, maybe like 4tsp.my question is,is it ok to do that since it's not alot and not every day?
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. Egg nog is not toxic to cats. However, giving too much may cause vomiting / diarrhea which can lead to dehydration. What you are giving is likely not enough to cause vomiting / diarrhea and should be fine. I hope this helps!
