A little bit of beef is fine. It will not make his hair fall out. A small treat of unseasoned beef occasionally should not cause him any issues (unless he has a beef allergy). At all other times, Shadow should be fed a good quality grain free food with a named protein source of animal origin. Avoid foods with sauces or gravies as these are typically high in carbohydrates.
