Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Your question got cut off so I hope I answer your question. It is possible that ZZ has urinary incontinence. It is not uncommon in spayed female dogs. It tends to occur secondary to not having the estrogen present and weakening of the urinary sphincter. Then when the dog is very relaxed/deep sleep urine leaks out without their control. If this sounds like ZZ's problem then I would have her urine tested for a UTI just to be sure, and urinary incontinence can lead to a UTI, and treat the UTI if present. Then I would discuss starting Proin or DES to treat the incontinence. I hope this helps and I wish ZZ the best!
