Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 4 years and 2 months old | 185 lbs
I got home from work several hours ago and my dogs face was very swollen, especially her right eye. I cleaned her eye with water, an hour later, the right eye was fine but the left eye had swollen even worse. i cleaned that eye and gave her an aspirin for the inflammation (since I didnt have benadryl on hand). I then noticed she is covered in bumps so im thinking fire ants. Can I give her benadryl after already giving her aspirin?

This does sound suspicious of an allergic reaction. In these cases, it's advised to take her to a veterinarian for treatment, because the reaction can get life-threatening without veterinary treatment. Benadryl would be helpful for an allergic reaction and does not negatively interact with aspirin, so should be safe to give. If you are considering giving this, then I recommend you first read the information at the link below. https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/ I hope that helps and Karma gets better soon.
