My dog's cherry eye has white film and poor vision. Home remedies?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 65 lbs

Have 7 yr old boxer/eng.Bulldog w/cherry eye. Has white glaze over R.eye. Treated w/amoxicillin (for months)goes away but returns after 1-2 DAYS w/o meds. Does not wipe out seems to PEEL off. VISION GREATLY DECREASED ok when on a/bs. See nothing IN eye. Lashes NOT inverted. Out of a/b. Am currently unable to get her medical treatment as I SHOULD/WISH I COULD! UNFAIR HER SUFFERING FOR MY $ PROBLEMS! PLEASE! PLEASE!-Do you have any suggestions to try at home? Thank you in advance ANY assistance

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to get the necessary treatment for Lolly. I would consider looking into CareCredit and apply for a line of credit you can use for veterinary care. You can go to their website and apply online. If that is not an option, I would consider using an eye medication called Optixcare, which you can find online quite easily. I would at least give this a try and see if it helps.
