Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Male | neutered | 3 years and 10 months old | 15 lbs
My cat got his rabies and distemper vaccines yesterday and had been vomiting throughout the day today and last night. Most of it is whole food, while others has been yellow liquid or saliva looking liquid. Should I be seriously concerned?

It is certainly possible that he is having a vaccine reaction. If tomorrow morning he isn’t back to normal then I would call for a follow appointment with your veterinarian as soon as possible. They many need to give him some medication for nausea. Also, they will want to document the possible reaction so that next time he needs vaccinations he can be given medication ahead of time to prevent a reaction. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.

No, although vaccine reactions are rare, most occur with 3days. There are many causes for a single episode of vomiting and nausea in a cat, if signs do not reduce over 24hours you should report to your vet for a check up
