My budgie's beak keeps growing long even after I trim it. What to do?

My female budgies beak keeps getting longer. I have bought it around 2 monts and the beak keeps getting longer. I have cut it two time but still it gets longer

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I can see that Squeezy’s beak is overgrown and somewhat misshapen. It should be trimmed as soon as possible. In the future, I recommend getting a cuttlebone for her to use to keep her beak trimmed. You should also make sure that her diet is balanced - she should be eating a commercial diet formulated for budgies and occasional fruits and veggies as treats.     The end of his beak does look pretty overgrown. I would have your local vet trim it and teach you how to trim it back as needed if it continues to overgrow. Beak overgrowth can be caused by a number of things, including genetics where it may just overgrow or misalign anyway regardless of wear down. Regular trimming can help ensure it stays the right length to keep Joy happy and active.
