Why does my Pug's tongue hang out, making it hard for her to chew?

I want to tricks to keep my Pug's tongue inside her mouth, she is older than 6 months, I know, she's old enough. she keeps her tongue outside (hanging to right side)all day. and also it makes her difficult to chew while eating food. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed | 17 lbs

Unfortunately this is just how she was made and nothing can really be done to prevent this. This is a common problem in short nosed breeds like pugs. They usually have the same tongue length as normal dogs but not enough space to store it. I think she is quite a cutie pie!
