My dog is itchy on prescription diet for crystals. Can I feed raw?

My dog had compound crystals removed, now on CD diet & terribly itchy & miserable,want to get her off this food & feed grain free raw with supplements. Any advice appreciated. Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

It really depends on the composition of the crystal/stones that were removed whether or not diet is important for preventing the recurrence of crystals/stones.
