How to stop my puppy chewing his bleeding ringworm tail tip?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 19 days old | 13 lbs

My 3mnth pup has ringworm. His tail tip is bleeding from it. How can I cover it so he can't chew it?

Hello, and thank you for your question. Floki is such a cutie! My best suggestion would be to put an e-collar (cone) over his head that is long enough to prevent him from reaching the tail tip. Hopefully you will only need to use this for a few weeks as the ringworm treatment starts to work and he is less itchy. Also make sure the vet checks for any secondary bacterial infections that could be making the itching worse and preventing it from healing. I hope this helps, and that Floki feels better soon!
