Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Male | unneutered | 4.5 lbs
Hello there. We have a miniature dachshund puppy, 5 months at home. Last week he was with us on a property with long grass and we feel that may be the cause to his belly and neck being covered in pimples. Lots of them. They were getting better but yesterday we found him in dense bush behind our home and they’ve gotten a lot worse. Wondering what we should do and if they are an allergic reaction. Have photos too if that helps. Thank you in advance. Sinead

Hi there, Yes, it does sound like Ronald is having an allergic reaction to the grass. Sometimes bathing with an aloe/oatmeal shampoo can help alleviate what's going on and decrease the rash, but often dogs need a small dose of steroid to stop their body from having such a reaction. I would recommend having Ronald seen by a vet to see what they advise. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach!
