Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Hip dysplasia would have nothing to do with causing these seizures. The cause of the seizures could be primarily neurological or infectious in origin. With the increasing seizures and if they are becoming longer and more severe, I would recommend having Jasper examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. He will likely need to go on to an anti-seizure medication to help prevent these from occurring. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further!
