What are these growths on my puppy's testicles? Should I worry?

Thank you for providing a picture of Bozwer's testicles! I can see why you are concerned. From the picture, these could be benign growths or it could be due to a skin infection from bacteria or yeast. Without seeing him in person, I couldn't say for certain. The best thing to do for him is have him seen by a vet this week. The vet can examine and diagnose what is causing these symptoms, and can prescribe treatment for them. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This could be a benign or malignant growth. This may be due to an infection. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. I just found these on my dogs testicles. He is an 8 year old pit pull. Should I keep an eye on them or should I bring him in to have them checked.
Hi Dalcy, thanks for posting this question. Those look like they could be pustules which are signs of a skin infection. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon, but I don’t think it is an emergency unless he explodes in these pustules all over. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Hi my 8 month old chihuahua puppy has sort of ball shaped tips on the bottom of his testicles, they don’t seem to bother him but I would like to know whether I should be worried about this and what it could be. Thanks
Thank you for submitting your question regarding Beau. This is likely just a normal part of his anatomy. You may be noticing a portion of the testicle known as the epididymis. It is best to have him seen by his veterinarian though to know for sure. I hope this information helps!

Cole has these two white “pimple” looking bumps on his testicles. They don’t seem to bother him but just wondering what you think they might be.
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This looks like a focal infection. You can try to use chlorhexidine containing pads (such as the Douxo chlorhexidine 3% PS pads) to clean the are twice daily for 7 days. You may find these online or at your local pet store. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good day!

Hi, my dog has a huge mass near his genitals. Like, its not ON his testicles or whatever, but rather sort of... right next to it if that makes any sense. However, now it's mostly just right on top of them. It started as a small lump a year or so ago,
This may be an abscess, a cyst or a tumor. You should have it examined by your veterinarian, as it is not possible to distinguish these by just looking at a photo. An abscess can usually be treated with antibiotics and/or be lanced, and a cyst can be evacuated. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning.

Hi, I have noticed a small lump on the testicle of my 17 month old Cane Corso, and was wondering if you had an idea of what it could potentially be, I have him booked in with my local vet on Tuesday to check this, but am hoping for some peace of mind
Hi there. I am glad to hear you already have an appointment scheduled. Possible causes would be a pustule from a skin infection, an ingrown hair, a histiocytoma which is a benign growth of young dogs that typically resolves on its own, or of course something more concerning such as cancer. Hello I'm really worried about my dog I have a red nose pitbull that is about 9 years old. I've had them for about 3 years. I noticed about a year ago that he was getting what look like tiny blueberries on the head of his penis area. They did not see
These are some type of tumor/growth. I cannot tell you if they are benign or malignant...that would have to be done by analyzing the cells in these growths. The best option in this situation is to see your veterinarian to arrange to have them surgically removed and sent off for testing. If these are not removed, they will continue to get larger, likely become infected, bleed or may interfere with him being able to urinate if they get big enough. My puppy has a pimple on his testicle. I’ve attached a photo.
As this can be caused by a number of things (trauma, minor infections, irritation of the skin, etc), it's always a good idea to have a vet take a look in person when there is a sudden change on the skin, especially if the change is rapid, painful, or bothersome to Banks. In the meantime, it's a good idea to keep the area clean and dry, and continue to monitor it for any additional changes, or see if it resolves. If the spot continues to grow in size, is bothersome or painful, begins to ooze debris, becomes discolored, or doesn't resolve in a few days, a vet check is best to rule out more serious issues.

i believe my dog has testicular cancer im not an expert but he has "bumps" on his testicals it seems like both have a "bump" but one is particularly larger and kind of forms a tip this is just my assumption from checking it feels like a tumor but ag
It’s impossible to say without an exam but if there has been a change in size or shape neoplasia is a possibility. Often times it may occur in one testicle giving a lopsided appearance. Testicular torsion is another possibility but this is usually painful. I would recommend having a vet appointment to have M assessed. Thank you for using Boop by Petco
