My dog's broken nail is hanging off. Should I cut it or leave it?

My dog broke his nail. It’s doesn’t seem to be bothering him other than when I try to touch it. He’s walking fine and even playing in the snow but the nail is still hanging off. Should I try to cut it off or just let it be? It looks like the inner part has already been detached. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 50 lbs

The nail is almost completely broken, it's barely hanging there, you should be able to easily cut it off with a nail clippers, i'm pretty sure it is not going to be painful and won't be bleeding either.
