My puppy hasn't pooped in 36 hrs after meds & hypoglycemia. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 25 days old

My 3lb Yorkie puppy (12 weeks) hasn’t pooped in 36 hours. He started some medicine for a parasite 3 days ago and became hypoglycemic yesterday so I took him to the vet. They gave him a glucose solution and an antibiotic because he had some congestion. He had his first antibiotic about 14 hours ago. Should I be concerned? He is eating and playing just fine today.

Hello. I would not be overly concerned. The most important thing is Dax is feeling just fine. The hypoglycemia may have caused a temporary slowing of the gut & I would imagine with a little more time, he will have a bowel movement. Puppies very rarely become constipated. He should be fine. Take care.
