Why is my senior dog with lymphoma also suddenly blind and deaf?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 9 years and 9 months old | 28.7 lbs

My 9 year old pug was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. Why has he also gone blind and deaf too.

I’m so sorry about Mugs’ recent diagnosis. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic ice system which is similar to blood in that it extends throughout the body. It is relatively common for lymphoma to affect they eyes, although it would not be as common for the ears to be affected. Lymphoma can also spread to the brain so that could be why both senses are affected. It’s also possible that Mugs has age associated loss of hearing and another disease that has affected his vision. I’d recommend following up with your veterinarian.
