Bloody diarrhea, won't move, and lost weight. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 4 years and 9 months old | 6 lbs

I have a four-year-old Jack Russell Chihuahua she’s always active eating drinking always plug in for an appointment now she is l I have a four-year-old Jack Russell Chihuahua she’s always active. Also always eat n drinks all the time. Well 3 days ago she had diarrhea with blood in it bright red. She won’t move out of bed and lost a lot of weight

This is very concerning. A problem called HGE or hemorrhagic gastroenteritis could be what is going on. This can be life threatening. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. They will probably recommend running some blood work and possibly some x-rays to determine a diagnosis. She will also likely need IV fluids and possibly antibiotics based on what you describe. I am very worried about her and hope you are able to get her to an emergency center as soon as possible.     Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Rebel. Poor girl. It may be her intestinal tract is so irritated from the diarrhea that it's now turned bloody or she could have hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Because it's turned bloody, it's time to see the vet. I would take her into a vet today to get this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!
