Can my dog get ear mites from a cat that left? How to prevent?

Hi I just want to ask because I have a persian cat and she's infected in ear mites. My cat will leave our house before my new dog come. My question is 'is my dog will get ear mites by any chance too? even my cat is already left? if yes what should i do? everything to avoid it. hope to answer thanks . Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | 28 days old | 2.25 lbs

You should consider vacuuming and cleaning your house thoroughly once the cat leaves and then consider a preventative for Princess called Revolution which prevents ear mites but also fleas and heartworms.
