How long should I wait before my dog gets its second parvo shot?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 5 days old | 5 lbs

I gave my dog a shot on the 24th of December and I was gonna see if I can give him another one today? The first shot was a parvo shot and the 2nd one will be as well.

I recommend booster vaccinations a minimum of two weeks apart and a maximum of four weeks apart. You can give the booster tomorrow or better yet later next week. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Gizmo.
