Puppy swallowed toy fabric. Did it pass if she's acting normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 months and 4 days old | 10.6 lbs

The other night my puppy swallowed the arm off her toy. There was no stuffing just the fabric and it was maybe just an inch or less? It’s been over 24 hours and she’s been acting completely normal. Eating, drinking, energetic, playful. She had one bowel movement yesterday morning and I didn’t check if it came out. But she has had two this morning and it wasn’t in either one. Is it possible that she already passed it and I just missed it? The second and third pictures are of the other arm intact.

What a cute name snowball! Yes, it is possible that the arm has passed through the stool and you just missed it. I would not be concerned as long as snowball is eating, drinking and defecating normal. If at anytime snowball is acting ill, vomiting or not eating I would recommend taking snowball to the vet for an x-ray of her abdomen. I hope that helps
