Dog ran out of Imuran. Is it safe to miss a dose until the vet opens?

Hi. My dog (Chihuahua) is on a medication called imuran she is on 1/4 of a 5mg tablet every two days. I just realized i am out and my vet is away til monday. Does imuran have a cumulative effect. She is also on a prednisone. She was diagonsed with a blood disorder. Will she be okay til then? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sarah will he fine until you can get more Imuran Monday. It does have a cumulative effect but the levels won’t drop rapidly nor will it harm her to miss a dose or 2. I hope this helps!
