My dog ate a naproxen tablet. What should I do if she seems fine?

Pet's info: Dog | Dogue de Bordeaux | Female | unspayed | 105 lbs

My dog ate a naproxen tablet 250mg at about 7pm she has had a meal before hand and ate a full meal afterward and seems normal but I am concerned just incase.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! A 250mg tablet is over 5mg/kg which is close to the gastro-intestinal signs and ulceration. It is probably too late to induce vomiting but that would have been ideal to do right after she ate. It is best to have her seen by your Vet to start gastro-intestinal protectants like omeprazole, sucralfate and misoprostal to protect her GI tract from ulceration just to be safe.
