My dog seems to have a lot of brown clay dust in him after going into the garden and it’s creating so much dust that you have to clean 6-7 times a day. When he shakes, the dust flies and settles on every surface. The garden is clay but this has only started occurring in the past month, which is why it’s puzzling me. If it was solely down to that, wouldn’t it have happened earlier? The attached image is how much dust he created in his crate overnight, and that crate was clean the night before.

Hi there, Dogs have a pretty thick undercoat and it could be trapping the dust in the layers of fur. I would give Bandit a good bath with some aloe or oatmeal dog shampoo and really later him up and rinse very well. This should clear the dust from his fur and help keep things clean. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach!
