Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 3 years old | 80 lbs
Hello. So this question has been bugging me for about two years now. I was given a pup of about two weeks that was dyed black all over and had a very bad lung infection to take care of by a friend. He’s now my best friend but I still can’t figure out what breed he is. So are there any experts out there who can help me out in this matter?

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Jack is super cute! You can probably ask 10 vets and you'll get 10 different answers. He isn't a pure bred dog and there are likely many breeds that contributed to how Jack looks. He likely has Chow (though his tongue isn't pigmented) or Samoyed to get that type of tail. The rest is likely a retriever or shepherd mix. For fun you can do DNA test, they aren't very accurate but it might be entertaining at least. I hope this helps and I wish you both well! http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=33924
