Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 25 days old | 4 lbs
I have a litter of 5 pug babies. They are 6 weeks old and all very healthy. One however, occasionally coughs and makes kinda a honking/squeaking sound. Her appetite is normal and boy does she love to play! It only happens maybe twice a day and has only happened for 3 days. None of the other from the litter has done this. The sire does reverse sneeze a lot, but the dam does not. No signs of fever, lethargy or anything else. Help please?

Hey there. I would check him for a cleft palate, this could be causing the problems you are noticing. It could also be a respiratory issue but either way it would be good for your vet to check him out and make sure he’s okay. I hope that helps. Thanks for using Pet Coach.
