My 5-month GSD won't obey without treats. Is professional training best?

I am training my GSD 5 months old,when I used to train him from 1 month but not regularly.he listen to me only when I give him treat but not randomly at any time..He remain in fun mood all the time not seriouslt or maturily...How to train him as full obedience dog and give me some links of training like leash training,handshake etc. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 5 months and 7 days old

I know this is something you want to do at home on your own however, my recommendation is that you should consult a professional dog trainer. If you do training at home without knowing what you are doing you will end up giving him incorrect/mixed signals. That will confuse him and he will end up with bad habits that are difficult to correct. Please consult a professional trainer so that Bruno gets trained correctly from the start. You can even use the trainers inside of Petco - the classes are not that expensive. I think that is your best bet. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
