Is a warm compress safe for my pet's infected eye on medication?

Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 13 years and 3 months old | 25 lbs

Can I use a warm compress on an infected eye? He is on eye drops antibiotics and steroids for this eye.how do I do this and how warm can I use it?

That would not help/be beneficial unfortunately and could potentially damage the eye surface. I would recommend not to use it, but eye discharge can be removed with a wet swap (room temperature).
