Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | spayed | 10 months and 26 days old | 1.10231 lbs

My bird flew onto the ceiling fan and fell on the floor landing on the floor. When I first picked her up, her right foot was curled up in a ball, kinda sticking out. I calmed her and gently TOUCHINGLY massaged her foot and I pat her gently on the head while she was lying on my hand calmly. Her foot unrolled but it has looser grip than the other foot.We put her in her cage and she hasn’t moved But I did realise some feathers sticking out.Idon’t have any vets nearby, that’s why im here plz writ lot

Hi, flying into a ceiling fan can cause major injuries to a bird, especially a small one. At home all you can do is put her in a warm quiet environment and make sure she eats and drinks. Anything beyond that you will need to take her to the vet.
