Why are my German Shepherd's ears runny, red, smelly, and itchy?

Hi! My german shepherd has runny ears.Its a watery sometimes yellowish fluid.They smell bad,he is scratching them various times a day.Ears appears red from inside.Help me regarding it. Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Male | 4 years and 7 months old
