My cat has a red, sticky eye with discharge. Does it need a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | 1 year and 5 months old

Extremely red left eye and mucousy discharge along with sticking of eye and difficulty in opening.

Koko is probably suffering from either an eye infection or an eye injury, you will have to take him to the vet in order to get the eye checked, he will probably need an antibiotic eye drop prescription for 1-2 weeks.
