My long-haired Chihuahua has a dry, cracked nose. What to do?

nose is dry and cracked long hair chiuahua. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 8 years and 9 months old | 7 lbs

It would be more helpful if you could post again with more information and a photo or two. The best I can tell you is that you can try putting some Vitamin E, Neosporin or Vaseline on the nose. Chances are Nacho will just lick it off but you can try. There are some autoimmune disorders than can cause this issue so I do suggest you get him to your vet for an exam.
