Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 4 years and 8 months old | 70 lbs
hi my dog is dripping from his mouth constantly. he's a droopy guy (bulldog mix). But I've never seen this. We have all had the flu (me wife baby). maybe he caught it? I'm used to the crazy trool. But him just sitting here is making puddles. should I take him to the vet? it's been gping abput 2hr

Hello, and thank you for your question. Colds are typically not transmissible between dogs and humans, so I think this is unlikely. The drooling may be a sign of nausea, or pain in the mouth. Are you able to see if there is anything stuck in his mouth? If his appetite and energy are low, or if he seems anxious or in distress, I would take him to the vet today. If his only symptom is drooling, I would suggest keeping an eye on him and take him to the vet if it is still happening tomorrow. I hope this helps and that Ziggy is feeling better soon!
