Why is my 7-week-old puppy crying so much and acting sad?

Hi, my puppy is only about seven weeks old. He has been crying a lot and is sad. I would like to no why can this cause be.? Thank you in advance.

Young puppies will whine or vocalize when cold, hungry, sick, injured or if left alone for long periods of time. You can make sure he is fed, warm and has company. To diagnose illness or injury, he would need to be physically examined by your veterinarian.
