My dog has a lump near his penis. Is it serious? Can I give amoxicillin?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 2 years and 1 month old

My dog is having this near his penis area abdomen .. I am attaching the photo kindly see and tell me is it something serious or what ? And last year doctor give him amoxicillin and potassium’s clavulanate 375 mg and my dog weigh is 35 kg so if it is not serious should I give him amoxicillin 375 mg twice daily ?

The flat picture does not show me what is going on with Danny. If there is a swelling in this region, it could be caused by several things, including an abscess, an inguinal hernia, a mass, among a few other things. I would recommend that Danny get checked out by a vet to see what is goin on. After physical examination, the vet may know what it is, or may recommend diagnostics such as x-rays, ultrasound, or needle aspirate to make a diagnosis. At this time, I think antibiotics are not indicated since we are not sure this is a bacterial process. Amoxicillin and amoxicillin+clavulinic acid are not quite the same thing and will respond to different antibiotics. I would recommend discussing this with your veterinarian, since it is illegal for us to recommend specific medications without examining the pet.
