Is a 500mg mebendazole tablet too much for my 5kg cat? How to dose?

Hi, how much mebendazole must be used for a 5 kg cat. I have a 500 mg tablet?

I would recommend taking Tigger to make sure mebendazole is the proper medication for him. Even though this is a dewormer and typically pretty safe 500mg is a large dose for a 5kg cat. It will be to hard to break this tablet to the appropriate dose for Tigger. Also mebendazole does not kill tapeworms so Tigger might need additional medication to deworm for tapeworms.
