Why does my cat have a growing lump on its leg that isn't a tick?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 8 months old

My car has a lump which is visible and growing on his leg. it looks like a bulb at first I thought it was a tick and tried to take it out but it was stuck firm which lead me to believe it wasn't a tick

You are correct that this is not a tick. It is some sort of skin mass. These can be caused by infections, but are sometimes cancerous. The only way to know for sure is to have a vet evaluate it and take a sample for testing. It's best if you can take Vader to a vet for testing sometime soon. They should be able to narrow-down the cause of this rather quickly and advise on the best course of treatment. I hope that helps and Vader gets better soon.
