Hi do I give my American Rotty a vaccine at 12 months. Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | unneutered | 1 year old | 90 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes. If Sosq has never been vaccinated he needs two DHPP vaccines (distemper, hepatitis, parvo and parainfluenza) 3-4 weeks apart. The 2nd DHPP is good for one year. He also can get a Rabies vaccine, which is good for 1 year. If Sosq did receive all his puppy shot and a Rabies vaccine then he is due for vaccines a year later which tends to be around 16 months. His DHPP and Rabies will be boosted and will be good for 3 years. I would contact your Vet for the expiration dates of his vaccines. I hope this helps and I wish you and Sosq the best!
