Does Petco offer rabies-only vaccinations without a full vet checkup?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 7 years and 8 months old | 50 lbs

Do you do rabies vaccination only (no Dr visit required)? I need to find a place that does.

The Rabies vaccine can only be given by a licensed veterinarian. You can have Diva vaccinated at any of the Vetco clinics or Petco vaccine events. Use the link below to search for a location near you and a date. https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/

Appointments are usually necessary for vaccines, but it depends on the clinic. Some clinics will offer walk-in services. I recommend calling, or visiting the website of the clinic you are interested in going to. Below is a link to information about the petco clinics. https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/ I hope that helps and all is well with Murphy.

You do not need an appointment to have your cats vaccinated. Here are the times and locations for the vaccination clinics.
