I want to get a new dog I currently have a shitzu and a chihuahua I let them roam during the day and they usually stay on the grounds of my property and I had to get rid of my husky cos as soon as he was let out he was gone and wouldn’t come back so I want a dog that I can let out and is less likely to run away and stay on the grounds of my property

Small dog breeds tend to run away less then large breed, but this is a very general statement and it can't guaranty in any way that your dog will stay on your property regardless of the breed. you do have plenty of options, these are just examples: jack Russel, Pug, Maltese, Pomeranian, French Bulldog.
