Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 12 lbs
My dog nose is losing color I first thought it was because we took a road trip and still haven’t been home but it’s been 5 days and her nose still light on the top. I took her outside thinking she just needed some sunlight but it still hasn’t gotten her color back

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Dogs can have changes in the pigmentation of their nose. This is rarely due to any significant medical reason. I do not think that you need to worry about this thankfully. Good luck and have a wonderful day and new year!

I don't think is anything to be alarmed about right now. Just keep an eye on the nose coloration and I would recommend you take a photo once a month in the same lighting so you can have an objective way to measure the coloration. Color change of the nose can be indicative of an underlying issue (usually autoimmune disease however this is mostly an issue with dogs) . If you are worried you can always take Tuna back to your vet (or just call them) for a consult.
