My dog is vomiting but seems okay. What can I give to settle his stomach?

My 2 year old dachshund has vomitted 6 times today. He is acting relatively normal. Is there anything I can give him to settle his tummy? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Male | neutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 17 lbs

I would restrict food for 12 hours, then start him on small amounts of boiled chicken and rice. You can give a dose of pepto bismol. There is a section on this website with the dose of common over the counter medications you can give your dog.
