My dog has diarrhea and blood in poop. What can I feed them?

Good day One of our dogs has a running tummy. This morning the poo had a little blood in. What can I give? We have gastropect but it expired in 2012 already. They don’t seem to feel sick. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Female | spayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 8.5 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can try feeding plain boiled chicken and boiled rice for a bland diet to calm the intestines. I would not give any expired medications. If the diarrhea or blood continue after 24 hours or gets worse during that time, I would seek medical attention from a vet to determine the cause.
